Room by Emma Donoghue
I’m finally done reading Room by Emma Donoghue! I bought this book late 2011 or early 2012, I forgot, and I regret every day that I put off reading it. The book was amazing! At first, I found it hard to follow how Jack (the main character) spoke because he was four year-old boy who couldn’t construct full sentences yet. But as the story progressed, I learned to love Jack and was able to grow accustomed to his way of speaking. Jack will make you laugh because of his pure innocence and make you cry because of his sincerest intentions. Definitely a must-read!
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson
After reading Room, I wanted to read something that will give me the same satisfaction that Room did, so I decided to read The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo which was a Christmas present from my cousins. (Thank you, Faye and Louise!) I’m only five chapters into the book and I’m already loving it! Every page is full of juice and gets juicier chapter-by-chapter!
